Will - USA
Will hails from Southern California, USA. A child of ex-hippies, with a great story of God’s faithfulness. He recently became an uncle for the 1st time and is super excited about it!!!
He graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California in 2004 with a degree in Religion: with an emphasis in Youth Leadership and a minor in Business.
When he was graduating University and attempting to figure out what to do with his life, someone asked him, “What are you going to do when you graduate?”; with no idea in mind, his response set him off on a crazy journey. “I am going to go travel around the world!” After he said those words he knew that was what he was going to do.
Will did his AW80 DTS here in Oxford in 2005 and went on outreach to South East Asia. He has since staffed two AW80 schools, leading outreach teams through Eastern Europe and South America. He then led the April ‘08 Around the World DTS and did pastoral visit through Asia and Africa; and in 2009 he co-led the March AW80 traveling through Asia and the Middle East.
Will is passionate about life and seeing people set free to live passionately for the Lord. He enjoys coffee, photography, art of any kind and the ocean…and of course traveling - different people and cultures and the beauty of how God created it all!!!!
Joshua 1:9, John 10:10, and Acts 20:22-24 are some of his life verses. And David is one of his biggest heroes ever.

Julie Anna - USA
A little background: Julie Anna is originally from Denver, Colorado, but now calls Nashville, Tennessee, home. Growing up as a pilot’s daughter travel became second-nature to her. She went to school for Communications at Lee University and graduated in 2002.
Julie Anna enjoys discovering new places, partnering with non-profits around the world, coffee, hiking, traveling, wakeboarding, skiing, and simply living this amazing adventure with Jesus.
As far as dreams go, her newest one is to travel to every country in the world. One of her passions is to link resource with need via amazing visual art. (aka - projects like Invisible Children). She’d like to live in a Spanish-speaking country and become fluent in Spanish to start, then maybe French and Italian.
Basically, she loves the entire DTS process. It’s an awesome time to really know God more and put action to our faith all over the world! The Lord continues to expand her horizons and go far beyond any ideas she ever had of Him!
“I ask the Father in his great glory to give you the power to be strong inwardly through his Spirit. I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God’s holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ’s love—how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. Christ’s love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you can be filled with the fullness of God.” Eph. 3:16-19 (NCV)

Jonathan - USA
I come from the sunny land of California. I studied Psychology at Cal State Stanislaus in Turlock. I got my degree in 2007, and then went on for a semester of postgraduate study.
I decided to stop school and went on to do my AW80 DTS in January 2008. I was blessed to be able to go to Africa for my outreach. It was an incredible and challenging time, and I grew more in my love for the world, for God, and people. I can’t wait for my first time to staff this around the world school!
My heart is really for youth. I love working with both Jr. and Sr. High students. They push me to become stronger and to live with integrity.
I enjoy spending time with friends, and playing music. I love all types of music, but Jazz and worship music are really what I enjoy. I also love working with computers and video games.
My desire is to see young people have a heart for God. I really want to see them grow and experience a faith that is truly their own.

Kim - USA
At the great age of 22, I can say that I’m loving walking this crazy journey of faith, hope, JOY, and learning what it means to live life to the full. My roots are in Indiana (and a bit of my heart too.) but pretty much wherever I am at the moment is home as I continue on this adventure of cruising with God wherever He takes me.
I did the Around the World DTS in January 2008 with an outreach to Far East Asia. In March of 2009, I staffed the Around the World School and led a team through Southeast Asia. After the school graduated, I fell in love with Switzerland, had my birthday in England, and then got to spend 2 and a half incredible months at home (with some pretty great people.) before returning to Oxford in December 2009.
The last few years have been a journey of learning who I am in God, seeking to know his character, and having my life so completely turned upside down by the revelation of how ridiculously high and long and wide and deep His love is for me. God has blessed my life in so (SO) many ways and I’m passionate about passing that blessing on to other people. My favorite things about God are his GOODNESS and his faithfulness and I’ve got about 8500 stories I could tell you about how cool He is. I also love the fact that my love for life and laughter is only a fraction of his love for those things.
New Zealand still reigns as my favorite country, coffee is my favorite drink, and hanging out with my friends is my favorite thing to do.
“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” -Micah 6:8

Lindsey - USA
Lindsey was born (and lived most of her life) in the quaint medium sized town of Jonesboro, AR in 1979. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 2002 with a Journalism/ Advertising degree with an emphasis in Marketing and Photography.
During her AW80 DTS in 07, Lindsey traveled to Southeast Asia, Israel and then through Europe a bit.
After returning to the states she worked for an adventure company, a non-profit called “Freedom’s Promise” that helps victims of human trafficking, and started a ministry called “Free to Live” that involves her photography, her note card company and speaking engagements.
Lindsey came back and staffed last years AW80 in 2009. She co-lead a team through Asia and Africa. It is great having Lindsey back on the team for another crazy round!!!
In her spare time she loves writing and shooting for a few different Christian magazines and hopes to get her book published one day! She’s super excited about this upcoming school and can’t wait to see God move in an incredible way!

Janosch - Germany
After having finished my DTS on the Caribbean Mercy in April and a “Phase II” with YWAM Denver in December 2004 I served on the Anastasis for 7 months until March 2006. In between I worked as a nightliner driver to make money for the next move. Finally in April 2007 I came to YWAM Oxford to attend the 3 months Bible School. I stayed on staff for the following SDTS and led an outreach team to Turkey. I returned to Istanbul in April 2008 as a long-term missionary, to facilitate and mobilize both short term teams and long-term workers to serve in that great nation.
I like sitting in the shade, both cold showers and beer, the roaring sound of engines bigger than 2.4 liter cubic capacity and a wide range of music - preferable played with a high quality system. I’m passionate about traveling, driving busses, my King, Turkey, soccer in general and my team VfB Stuttgart in particular.
I don’t like gossip, wasting time, being at the wrong place at the wrong time and German folk music, not even played with a high quality system - in the contrary: this would make it worse!!
One of my dreams is to travel from Germany to the Black Sea all the way on the Danube river and further to Istanbul….
“Only as high as I reach can I grow
Only as far as I seek can I go
Only as deep as I look can I see
Only as much as I dream can I be”

Nelson - USA
My name is Nelson. I was first involved with YWAM in 1996 and worked with YWAM Kona, Hawaii on DTS staff for 2 years. I was born and raised in the Chicago area but have since lived in Nashville, TN and Hawaii. I graduated from Anderson University (Indiana) with a BA in Psychology and love people-all shapes and sizes! My passions are travel and working with people to help realize giftings-both in myself and in others. In fact, I love taking a team around the world! There’s nothing like seeing God turn someone on to something new!
I love vehicles and machines. I love driving…cars, trucks, boats, airplanes, anything pretty much. Like working on them too.
At the moment, I am only fluent in English with a little Spanish, but I like to think I have a passion for culture and would love to be immersed in one long enough to learn the language. I love the Word of God. I love reading it, writing it down, talking about it-everything. I have yet to take YWAM’s School of Biblical studies, but I would love to.
Here is a scripture I got for this year and I love the urgency of it.
1 Corinthians 7:29-31 ”What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; 30those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; 31those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.”

Trevor - USA
Trevor was conceived in a canoe in Northern Minnesota and born and raised along with his 2 older sisters in the great Illinois! He learned a lot about life through his time in the forests, climbing trees, and stalking animals, and now he is married to the lovely Kelly.
Though he preferred a life apart from education, sure enough he endured the rigors of academia; finally receiving a BA from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Trevor has staffed the 2006, 2007, 2009 and now the 2010 AW80 schools. He has lead teams through Far East Asia, South East Asia and Africa. His history with Oxford goes back to 2002 when at age 17 he did the Snowboarders Discipleship Training School. This SDTS allowed Trevor to experience the fullness of who God is and ignited a fire in him to serve God abroad.
During free time Trevor prefers to climb, bike, run, ski (even in the summer), surf, walk, anything…anything… that provides movement.

Shortly after, she come to Oxford and completed her DTS in 2009 while engaged to Trevor. Traveling through Africa on Outreach was an adventure. Kari - CAN
Hi, my name is Kari. I am 20 years old and live in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. My favourite colour is blue! I completed my Around The World in 80 Days DTS in 2009. My outreach was in South East Asia and Africa.
I graduated high school, worked a bit, and then went on my DTS and haven’t stopped YWAM since then. God dramatically altered my life during DTS and called me to the Nations, starting my journey with coming back here to YWAM Oxford. I have caught this huge passion to live life to the fullest with God in being his beloved daughter, seeking after Him and letting nothing get in my way. I love reaching out the lost and telling them how important they are and giving them back their identity in Christ.
I enjoy traveling / discovering new cultures, singing, cooking, painting, serving, and being completely spontaneous and silly!! I am living the extraordinary life that God has planned for me and am looking forward to bringing others on the same adventure.
A few Life Verses: Psalm 139, Isaiah 41:9-10, Song of Songs

Kadi - USA
Why hello all you out there. My name is Kadi and I am passionate about life, and knowing The One who gave me that life. I come from the hot and sunny land of Tucson, Arizona. I enjoy coffee and bon fires with friends, art, hats, cranberry sauce, old black and white movies, chilling in trees, poetry, and the smell of freshly cut grass…to name a few.
Last year I did the Around the World in 80 Days DTS, and I got the amazing opportunity to do outreach in South America. I really felt God calling me to come back to Oxford and staff…so here I am. I am extremly exctied to see what God has in store for this season!
Logically Speaking:
(A poem by the great Kadi )
Logically it makes no sense, but it is not for logic I live for.
No it is for something far more grand that I can’t understand that I find myself pursuing now.
Yet I resist.
This grander life is calling me,
but my logic tells me,
“play it safe”.
This green dough holds me back,
saying “wait”.
Enough.
I’m not here on this earth because of the riches of men.
Nix. I am striving for the divinity. His riches in Glory is for what I live for.
Step. Run. Jump. Leap. Soar. Stumble.
I don’t really care how I get there, I just know I’m going.
Wherever You may lead.
