FLCR Activities

In addition to the school fees, there is a required transportation and activity fee of $NZ750 per student. This fee covers the cost of transport and organized weekend activities. Throughout the twelve-week lecture phase, the students are given many opportunities to see various local sights and participate in outdoor exercise.

Some weekend activities include, but are not limited to:

• Caving through Cave Stream, which is close to where the scenic movie Narnia was filmed

• Hiking/walking some nearby mountains and trails with breathtaking views

• Soaking in the thermal hot pools of Hanmer Springs

• Mountain biking

• Day trips to nearby National Parks and beaches
