Rex & Annie // Hawaii, USA
We are so blessed and excited to lead Father’s Love CDTS. Prior to joining YWAM two years ago, we have been pastors and church planting for over 20 years. We have three grown children and (so far) four grandchildren. We both love the adventure and life that comes with following the Father’s leading.
Our passion is seeing people’s lives transformed by journeying into the Father’s love, finding their true identity as sons and daughters and learning to do “only what I see the Father doing” from a place of rest. It is a privilege to serve in YWAM which offers global possibilities for ongoing missions and outreach for our students.
Come and join with us on this adventure!
David & Mary // Michigan, USA
We have been married for 34 years, currently live in Michigan USA. We have three grown children and five grandchildren with another one due in June. We spent nine years working with a church in Germany. Dave is a retired music teacher. Mary worked as a physical therapist assistant. Dave also served as an elder at their home church in Michigan for 14 years before stepping down to make more time for mission work and traveling.
We attended the Father’s Heart CDTS in 2014 and a Father’s Love B school in 2015. It has changed our lives and we are anxious to continue growing in His love and sharing it with others. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our growing family.
Darrell & Jan // Colorado, USA
Darrel and Jan have a passion to witness and facilitate the work of Holy Spirit in the nations to “heal the brokenhearted and to bring freedom for the captives.” That has been their life in YWAM throughout the past six years and continues to be their calling, purpose and destiny.
Darrel and Jan come to you from the mountains of Colorado, USA where, for many years, they lived a “typical” life raising their family and pursuing careers as a transportation engineer and language teacher. After retirement, they attended the Crossroads Discipleship Training School in Kona, Hawaii where Jesus transformed their world view and called them into missions worldwide.
The following five years were spent staffing Crossroads Schools and leading outreach teams to various developing nations. After taking the YWAM course, Foundations in Counseling Ministry, Darrel and Jan found themselves launched into freelance ministry teaching The Divine Plumbline course by Dr. Bruce Thompson at YWAM bases and doing inner healing/ deliverance prayer ministry with students, staff and volunteers. They have been involved with 23 YWAM bases and ministries in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, Fiji and other Pacific Islands.
Darrel and Jan are committed to the Lord’s call on their lives – “to the nations short term.” Their hearts’ desire is “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up . . . and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Eph 4:12.
Rabiah // UK
I live in the UK with my wonderful family where I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 2007.
Father God’s personal call on my life is to proclaim good news, bind up the broken-hearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, and bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
In 2015 I attended the Father’s love DTS in Oxford. During this time God healed my own heart. He showered me with His love and grace because He is such an amazing father. I tasted Him and I can definitely say that He is Good!
Since returning home, I sense God is calling me to full time missions and my return to staff school this year is the next step that He is inviting me to.
I am excited for those who are attending school this year. If you are coming along this year, know that I am praying for you and looking forward to sharing Father God’s love with you as we journey together in this very exciting adventure!
Valerie // Calgary, CAN
I became a Christian 25 years ago. I am so grateful that Jesus said many years ago “this one’s mine”. He has been relentlessly pursuing me and I have been pursuing His love for many years now.
While I was a working single mom I took my vacation days and did short mission trips. From Tepic Mexico to Trinidad to Rarotonga to Cuba. I just loved it!
I always wanted to do a DTS but Knew I had to wait until I was retired so when I got laid off in 2013 I was very excited and enrolled in the crossroads DTS in Kona in 2014. I was hooked line and sinker so much so that I volunteered the following year at YWAM ships. I enjoyed cleaning rooms and scrubbing toilets but mostly I enjoyed my street ministry where God brought me many homeless people to pray for and love on. I lost my oldest son in 2014 from a drug overdose so my heart gravitates to street people and I have a compassion for addicts.
My outreach with my CDTS was Israel. I had the awesome privilege of loving on and helping holocaust survivors.
Now I am looking forward to coming on staff for this Sonship CDTS. Pursuing the heart of God and getting to know Him on an even deeper level.
Bill // Louisiana, USA
My name is Bill and I was born in New Orleans, La. and spent most of my early years in Va. Beach, Va. I’m the oldest of 7 from a Catholic family.
My conversion happened in Southern California in 1975 a few years after my service in Vietnam as an attack helicopter pilot.
For the next 20 years I worked in corporate America in marketing.
Then the Lord called me into full time missions. Sending me to YWAM KONA for my Crossroads DTS in Jan. 1996. Form that time forward I have been in Christian ministry, primarily as a missionary. Most of that time has been spent with YWAM as staff of Crossroads DTS with independent service to the country of Ukraine. I also served as planning manager for “The Flying Hospital” a ministry of CBN/OPERATION BLESSING.
In the past few years I have lived in Jacksonville but it seems the Lord has awoken me to enter the field again. This is very exciting for me, especially having the opportunity to come to New Zealand. This has been a desire of mine since I saw the movie “On the Beach” in 1959. Amazing how the Lord gives you “…the desires of your heart” I’m blessed! I look forward to meeting you all in the near future.
