For me, the snowboarder’s discipleship training school was definitely a life-changing experience. I encountered God ways that I never have before and I met like-minded people who have challenged me to grow both in my faith and my snowboarding! The fact that this DTS is based around one of my passions really inspired me to let God move in every element of my life, on the mountain and off. Life is ministry, and ministry is loving people, whether those people are snowboarders or individuals who have never seen snow in their lives. I know that God is using me, wherever I go and whatever I do. And no matter what happens, He is always good.

The snowboarder Discipleship Training School was life changing. I really felt the presence of God and made some life changing commitments for myself for when I came back home. It helped me to learn about myself more in God’s shape and character. I always knew that I was a child of God, but after this I learned how to walk with God daily.

I also am forever changed by the power of Jesus. I want anyone out there who is interested in this program to know that they can make this happen for themselves. It is an intense program that will shape you into the best person that you can and will be by walking with God. I strongly recommend this program because you will make lifelong friendships based in Jesus, and get to really know the Bible like the back of your hand. I am so happy to share this dream that I experienced which turned out to be the best time of my life. I hope you take this seriously, and do this for yourself!

The snowboarding experience is amazing! It really gives you confidence in yourself that you can conquer the world when your shredding those mountains twice a week. I am so glad I did this school, and will always cherish it for the rest of my life! The memories are so vivd to me of the mountains, and the beauty is so extravagant!

I am happy to share this extraordinary experience with people outside of YWAM since I have come home. I always want to be used by the Lord as much as I can! I hope that this testimony helped you to understand a tiny bit of what an amazing experience this is! May God be with you!

My SDTS experience was gnarly. God taught me so much over the time of lecture phase and on my outreach. I was really shown what it means to have a humble heart and do things out of God’s love and not out of self-righteousness. God brought me super close to his heart over my time on DTS and showed me His love for the world and me. My life is now completely different I look at things from a completely different angle and I want to live for God.

Snowboarding twice a week was also fantastic, get to hang out on the hill and chat with people. Snowboarding for Jesus? What could be better? The relationships I built over this time made me realize how important a strong community is and helped me build that strong community. The people were so much fun. I loved my SDTS.
