The Heart of the School

The Fathers Love DTS is a Crossroads school for people of all ages to come into a revelation of Father’s Love and grow in their identity as sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. This enables people to walk out their destiny in the freedom of true sonship rather than through a sense of obligation, duty or servitude.

The students will get the opportunity to experience what sonship looks like in the context of YWAM’s mandate and mission.

Who is it for?

The School is for people of all ages and there are possible options for families.  We are a family friendly base and try and accomodate children where we can.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: We offer a $250.00 NZD discount for students who pay their deposit at least 3 months before the school start date. Apply early and save!

What can people expect in the Lecture Phase?

Lecture Phase is a time of transformation, healing and seeing God’s redemption play out for many as we focus in on the first half of YWAM’s motto of “Know God and make Him known”.

During lecture phase the day begins by meeting together for worship, intercession, devotions etc  and this creates a  chance to be family.  Lectures then last until lunch time, with a short break for a deeply important Kiwi cultural tradition- morning tea!  Afternoons vary from small groups, to outreach preparation or free time.  There are occasional evening lectures but this is mostly free time.  We always try to strike the balance of providing an engaging, quality program while at the same time giving different personalities the space and time they need to process all the new things they’re experiencing.

Lecture Phase dates: 11 March – 25 May 2018

Deborah •

Hi, my name is Deborah, (Deb for short). I’m a local kiwi gal. I’m originally from the U.K. and I’ve been here 42 years. I’m a 5th generation Kiwi. I have three adult children and three grandchildren and my mom. I love being near my family, who all live in Oxford area minus one son, who is in London. I found out about YWAM through my missionary sister and I did my FMS in Matamata in 2006. I staffed a school in YWAM Oxford for the first time in 2011. My role here is the base butterfly. I love this base because it’s so cool here. I love being base momma, I love everyone, coming to the base keeps my heart and passion alive. I can be myself here. It encourages me so much seeing the lives of people changing and growing. My heart is for the body of Christ and connecting to the community as well.
